Twitter is bleeding money in part because the owner refused to play ball with advertisers moderation demands, and the majority who don't see any downtime on twitter consider it more than "stable and functional". And for the owner, who probably thinks he's co-piloting the strongest government in the world right now and attributes part of that success to the platform he controls, it is functioning magnificently. ..and that is all that matters to him.
