Why should you or I give the benefit of the doubt to somehow who has been explicitly flirting with white supremacy in his tweets for months?
He gave a Nazi salute. He intended it.
If anyone doubts that, try to do the exact same movement at work this week and attempt to explain to HR you were just showing your love by reaching out your hand from your heart.
- NotYourLawyer 2y ago> explicitly flirting with white supremacy in his tweets for months Citation needed. People vilify him not because he’s a Nazi or a white supremacist (he isn’t), but because he supports Trump. He gets the benefit of the doubt because he’s an awkward guy, doing awkward shit.
- _DeadFred_ 2y agoHe braces himself, makes an aggressive facial expression and stiffens his arm (not a thank you loving face), his palm facing down, elbow stiff, fingers locked together (not how one throws their heart), does it a second time, then comments that 'the future of civilization is assured'. Go Google images and look from multiple angles. Of BOTH salutes. Try not to puke at the smiles/cheers in the crowd. Subtle Elon used the Fraktur font on his MAGA hat. Elon supports the AFD. Elon intentionally does a Nazi salute twice. Elon likes/responds possitively to Nazi's and white supremacists on X. Elon talks about 'declining birth rates and immigration policies' as closely as he can get away with to 'race replacement theory'.

- generj 2y agoIt’s pretty easy to Google Elon Musk and white supremacy. I did so, here’s two sources: https://amp.cnn.com/cnn/2023/11/15/media/elon-musk-antisemitism-white-people https://amp.cnn.com/cnn/2023/11/15/media/elon-musk-antisemit... https://www.theverge.com/2023/11/16/23964160/elon-musk-antisemitic-x-post-ibm-ads https://www.theverge.com/2023/11/16/23964160/elon-musk-antis... Beyond that, there are dozens of incidents where he will retweet blatantly obvious Great Replacement Theory, etc with “interesting”. And replatforming known neo-Nazis like Nick Fuentes.

- generj 2y agoYou asked for a citation, I provided two, and you didn’t show either disproved him flirting with white supremacy (my original claim you disputed). Is there anything in the citations that is somehow wrong? If not, why pivot to a claim to authority rather than admit I provided your requested sources? Incidentally the ADL has been catching a lot of flack for their statement. And they earlier explicitly condemned Musk earlier for…the exact events I cited above. Beyond that, Musk hasn’t even denied it was a Nazi salute! You’d think he could clear it up, or at least attempt to. The fact he hasn’t denied it 24. Hours on speaks volumes. https://www.vanityfair.com/style/story/elon-musk-inauguration-gesture-nazi-salute?srsltid=AfmBOoqdFWFUT_6axExBwkbcDeDHcrEid5fYD1QUIwoDq0tAIftQScYf https://www.vanityfair.com/style/story/elon-musk-inauguratio...
