I wish match.com did more to prevent spam accounts. My step father passed away in 2018. My mother was grieving and isolated during COVID and turned to match.com. She was scammed out of a lot of money. It still blows my mind how much money she gave away. But the more I consider her situation, the more I realize match.com doesn’t have the correct incentives to pursue and destroy spam accounts.
