- pasttense01 2y agoAll police crime fighting activities wrack up real-world harm. For example I see an estimate that the police killed 1250 people in 2024. While most of the killings were unavoidable many were not. So it's question of costs vs benefits for crime fighting methods like face recognition.
- this_weekend 2y agoPerhaps a rule like "first do no harm"?
