From my Werewolf experience, translated back into Faithful/Traitor: Most Faithful explain their elaborate theories of what's going on and are quite often right. But it takes just one Traitor's "but what about X, who voted to banish a Faithful?" to completely derail the noobies. Even if the "Seer" calls out the bad guys and gets murdered/banished the next night. Meanwhile, half the players are just socializing, drinking and not paying much attention at all. They're wild cards and seem to vote randomly. The game is a pleasurable experience, but I wouldn't go too deep into theory, you'll be frustrated how people actually play the game.
