Who are these people keeping resumes in their "back pocket". Has anyone ever been reached out about a job months or years later. Has anyone here ever just keep a resume just in case?
- karmakurtisaani 2y agoThis actually happened to me once, with about 4 years between sending my cv and recruiter contact. I don't believe it's very common tho.
- paleotrope 2y agoWas it effective? Did you take a chance on the role they were offering you?
- karmakurtisaani 2y agoIt was Google in 22. I passed their interviews and hiring committee, but before getting an offer they started the hiring freeze and big purge. So yes and no I suppose.
