Newspaper is probably a bad example because the first ammendment specifically calls out protecting the press
> Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof; or abridging the freedom of speech, or of the press; or the right of the people peaceably to assemble, and to petition the government for a redress of grievances.
- lupusreal 2y agoThat's kind of what I was thinking w.r.t. ”first amendment doesn't have any provision regarding the potential reach or enablement of distribution of the speech of the people.”
