It’s a way to protest the ban by saying no to the US tech companies and system since it was clearly a lobbying deal because if they cared about privacy they would put some rules in place that even US companies would have to follow
- NoPicklez 2y agoIt could simply be that the US decided they didn't want a Chinese app showing content to an enormous amount of Americans. Tiktok is allowed to continue if they find a US buyer for it operations.
