  "In today's world, where security is supposedly a top priority, you'd expect all - or at least most - HTTP connections to redirect to HTTPS for a secure experience. Right? Not really." Countless "tech" blogs written by "developers" and HN commenters will proclaim, over and over, "it's all HTTPS". Perhaps it is what they want to be true. But it simply isn't a true account of reality.
