A general-purpose tool to render your thoughts [video]
- maxmartinezruts 2y agoWidgens is a general-purpose tool to render your thoughts. Widgens introduces a new way to interact with computers by means of a “Universal Renderer”, a technology designed to render anything you want on your screen. You can think of Widgens as a browser that renders your natural language instructions rather than CSS and HTML instructions, hence making it a general purpose tool. With this approach Widgens aims to gradually deprecate software apps in favor of a “Universal Renderer” that serves as the UI layer that communicates with a network of agents.
- cootsnuck 2y agoCool video. Reminded me of an old school Apple ad. Does Widgens allow you to search via speech-to-text? I feel like the video, and the idea of "searching at the speed of thought", makes me think being able to just rattle stuff off verbally.
- maxmartinezruts 2y agoIt does! You can try it out yourself at https://widgens.com https://widgens.com :) Using the microphone you can "talk" to Widgets. The experience should be like you're talking to a "screen assistant". Would love to hear from your experience using it! Just curious - is the Apple ad you were referring to the genmoji one? https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XROs4K67Y9Q https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XROs4K67Y9Q
