- jqpabc123 2y agoHow do you know? Can you define "conscious"? In any case, it's probably just a matter of computing power. One day, consciousness will just "emerge" from a "really big" computer (made in China) running a LLM to take over the world without anyone really understanding how or why. I know it's possible because I saw it in a movie. It's best to start restricting AI to really big American companies who know how to pull the plug when things start getting out of hand. Nothing about the current state of AI comedy deserves to be taken too seriously.
