'Now Is the Time of Monsters'
- chiefalchemist 2y agoTrue these "monster" things grab our attention - which the for-profit ad-based media loves - however... Nuclear weapons and the possible threat of nuclear war pales them all by at least 100x, perhaps more. As long as I've been on this earth that threat has existed. Just because we've stopped talking about it anand stopped thinking about it doesn't mean it's there. Editorial: It's op-eds like these that have made me less and less fond of The NYT. Certainly there are opinions more relevant and thought provoking.
