They are simply different translations, period. The book you mentioned is usually referred to as "红宝书" (Red Precious Book). Don't know where the translation on Wikipedia comes from.
- j16sdiz 2y agoSearch "小红书 毛語錄" in Google. You can see it is referenced in both way. The name 红宝书 is popular in mainland China. Chinese from Taiwan or other se asian community just call it 小红书 or 毛語錄
