Is the 2-3 just for single frames, or does it already include all the tricks cameras can do to get more dynamic range?
Many cars have multiple cameras and could (can?) run them at different exposures. Or run at a very high frame rate and take every frame with multiple exposure settings, and calculate an HDR video on the fly.
