I think some people would not be comfortable with this and rather take a steady paycheck from Big Corp while working on 1-2 darling projects at home.
- jamal-kumar 2y agoIt kind of mirrors my observations in what makes a successful individual in the world of ecommerce, you gotta have the capital to start like ten ideas at once then you whittle out which one don't profit more than 10k a month and come up with new ones to fill the place. Shit sounds like tedium or uncomfortable or whatever to some, but I know multiple millionaires on this tip.

Every project (even the dumb wedding cards one) arose from some need in my life that turned into a desire to make something exist in the world. That said, I totally agree that some people would rather keep the steady paycheck. The career is a large up-front investment with a variable outcome. But, it's not as hard as it can be made out to be, and the payoff, if successful, is immense.
