Readers' favorite science fiction books of 2024

A lot of the books in the list have but one single vote. I don't think that's very useful. Anyway, Ive heard good things of Hail Mary so I'll be checking that one out (it's 2nd on the list). I know they say don't judge a book by its cover but I didn't like the cover of the book that's rated number one... I'll still check it out I guess.

Keep in mind every book on this list is 1 of 3 high-value votes for best of the year. This isn't a popularity contest, but rather a way place to dig deep into the books people loved above all others.

I'm on book 5 of 7 on Dungeon Crawler Carl, one of the best and most hilarious sci-fi books I've read in years :)

The audio book versions of those are excellent.
