Same in France, I can't blame them, bad and good employees are paid the exact same minimum wage so why would you bother? There's definitely a salary crisis, employers don't want to reward good employees anymore. Competitors are paying the exact same salary down to the cents, if it goes too badly, you'll be paid the same somewhere else anyways.
