Ransomware crew abuses AWS native encryption sets data-destruct timer for 7 days
- sylware 2y agoI am self hosted and I get scanned (and probably nastier) from AWS, but also all the other clouds: gogol, misscrosoft (a lot), and lesser known clouds. It is a pain since to block those compromised systems, I have to block whole ip ranges from those clouds, which host legit stuff. Those have been reported for months... and nobody does enough or even anything in those clouds to handle that. How convenient...
