A small cost can reduce fake accounts. You could charge a $1 and then credit them with 10 votes for 10c.
If people want the game the system they pay you. Legitimate users would likely be ok with a 10 cents charge per vote.
- lakshikag 2y agoThanks for the suggestion! Charging a small fee to reduce fake accounts is an interesting idea. But the big question is whether enough users would actually be willing to pay, especially for something like voting. I’d need to weigh whether this fee could impact the user experience or the overall growth of the platform. It’s definitely something to consider as I continue to refine the system though—thanks again for the input :)
