wouldn't this get banned, if you send bulk messages, say 1000 at a time?

Better to do it in Batches of 50, give some time and send again. We tested for 500 messages within 5 mins. Did not get blocked. It is not against TOS as it is using Whatsapp Web. But use it at your own risk

Can you point out an example of a constructive use of such extension? Or are we fully into "We built the torment nexus from the classic novel Don't Create The Torment Nexus" territory?

If you want to Reach 1000 people on Whatsapp for Whatsapp marketing, It takes lots of time to Outreach by messaging one by one. Here you can just Upload a CSV of Contact numbers, and put message and Hit Send. It need not be just your contacts, it can be anyone. It had a large demand, where people were not willing to use APIs be it Official Whatsapp APIs or UnOfficial ones like Maytapi Here you can just paste CSV and Hit send Mainly used in Cold Whatsapp Outreach

No, it's very, very easy to access high (>10K) rates of business-initiated conversations... once you submit your business verification with meta, of course. And a legitimate Whatsapp business account. Again, I'm probably just too stupid and I'm missing the legitimate reasons for an extension like this other than "Spam thousands of whatsapp users from your throwaway accounts". I'm sure you can illustrate them better than I can.

      1. This Solution avoids verified Meta Business Manager account or WhatsApp Business Solution Provider (BSP) 2. Business-initiated conversations are costly. This is Free 3. Business-initiated conversations require pre-approved message templates. Here you dont. 4. Cloud API restricts access to Whatsapp Web. However, you can use this with Whatsapp Business 5. This is better solution for an Individual or Small Business. 6. You can use this solution alongwith Whatsapp Business
