Working remote (especially if this is your first time) comes with its own set of stresses and challenges. It took me 1-2 years to adapt when I started. Some of the challenges may occur in any wfh position.

You can find out by asking people in other industries. Either ask your friends, or people at a general networking event. They'll be happy to talk about themselves and their challenges. No need to reskill in order to find out firsthand.

- jongjong 2y agoThanks. I'm considering getting into cyber-security. It's disappointing because I much prefer building stuff than trying to break stuff but the way the tech industry is going, I think there is a lot more money to be made in finding problems than coming up with solutions. Nobody seems to be interested in preventing problems but everyone will gladly pay up to compensate for their neglect.
