[NOTE: Is it OK to submit URLs that require login?]
https://status.gandi.net https://status.gandi.net shows all green, but:
- can't add or remove credit cards
- balance refill charges the card, sends no emails, account balance stays at $0
- at https://admin.gandi.net/billing/ https://admin.gandi.net/billing/ you can't view invoices/orders etc with CORS error:
Access to script at 'https://assets-admin-gandi.global.ssl.fastly.net/billing/dist/public/js/client.d5924350e0e10b1f88c5.bundle.js https://assets-admin-gandi.global.ssl.fastly.net/billing/dis...' from origin 'https://admin.gandi.net https://admin.gandi.net' has been blocked by CORS policy: The 'Access-Control-Allow-Origin' header contains multiple values 'https://admin.gandi.net https://admin.gandi.net,', but only one is allowed.
(edit: yes, I've double-checked and that's the actual Gandi website)
- LinuxBender 2y agoIs it OK to submit URLs that require login? Not really. In this case it would be best to submit a "Tell HN: Billing is down at the Gandi domain registrar" and provide details in the text. People that have accounts on that site would know where to log in and test.
- wizzard0 2y agoThanks. I guess we need to summon dang now to remove the url?
- LinuxBender 2y agoYour call. They get a lot of emails and often have a backlog. If people find they can log in OK then it may get flagged, otherwise I'd just leave it. Perhaps not many people log in Sunday evening.
- wizzard0 2y agoLogin works fine, operations after you log in - not so much. Edited "down" to "broken".
