I Have No Idea What Peter Thiel Is Trying to Say
- hindsightbias 2y agoNeither does he. Thiel is the last Straussian fanboi. He wrote a treatise on it while at Stanford. Rather than create new ideas or philosphies, you just invent some DaVinci Code like conspircay theory that all the great philosphers were really saying something else, and whatever that is depends on your last bong hit.

Being part of the rich boys club is a good financial move at present. Unfortunately The gizmodo riposte is even worse than Thiel's conspirist rant. "Was COVID-19 a U.S. bioweapon?" is the articles misinformative rewrite for Thiel's "Did they [the administration] suspect that Covid spawned from US taxpayer-funded research".
