Climate change is real, but people are vastly overstating the magnitude of its effect.
This is simply a fire prone region, and this was inevitably going to occur at some point, with or without climate change.
The government should have been more prepared for that.
- 01100011 2y agoThis. Fire is an integral part of CA ecosystems and the native plant communities are dependent upon it. It does burn more frequently thanks to man, but citing climate change as a reason for the fires only makes you sound smart to the ill-informed.
