The revealed preferences of political leaders is that they don't believe Climate Change is the "cause", either. If they did, they would've planned for this instability and increased funding for all of the preventative actions mentioned in this thread and the various links therein. Or do people still think that banning plastic bags and carbon taxes stop wild fires.
