Does anyone use Clojure CLR? How is the startup time for that?

  Probably similar to JVM clojure. The .net VM is similar to the JVM in perf, but iirc, the clj startup time is more dominated by Clojure itself (like var initialization).

    Oh yes I get that, but wasn't sure if there was some kind of better support for AOT compilation in the CLR which could do Clojure startup at build time or something.

      Not that I'm aware of. ClojureCLR was pretty much just made by Ramsey Nasser as a vehicle for his experimental video game work. I never heard of anyone else using it (though I'm sure somebody tried), so I'd bet against it having a better AOT experience. Just my $.02, anyway.
