How long would it take to read the 2 TB from EBS?

  based on this, it shouldn't take more than half a day under the worst circumstances (single EBS drive with crappy performance), and if you Raid together enough drives, you can do it in about an hour.     2 TB in one hour is about 4.9 Gbps. Cluster Computes have 10 GbE internally, but I'd be surprised if they have that all the way out to EBS.

      Doesn't matter if they're in parallel.
