Schmerg has already stated #11. Here's my #12. #12... Reading blogs/articles about startups. I'm guilty of this as well. Its ok to ready every once and a while, but the constant research on startup life does take you out of your element. Put your head down and get to work! Its all up to you and you alone. Make the effort, and get to coding/building. The rest will fall into place.
