- s1artibartfast 2y agoThe article uses the language of "profit from the devistation". I think the most important aspect is if they are profiting at the expense of the residents. Firefighters, homebuilders, banks, and police also "profit from the devastation". I expect there are massive stock and option trading taking place for related companies and industries. IF someone wants to see callousness, they can just go on reddit and see tens of thousands of people active celebrating the destruction because the most affected are thought to be more affluent.
