I have the feeling that Trump will try to squeeze as much as he can from every international partner legitimately or not, counting on the idea of Musk meddling in their respective national politics (See supporting Meloni in Italy, helping the AFD in Germany and trying to oust Keir Starmer in UK) will weaken their chance to rebut his requests. If Musk fails at sending EU in chaos, this will backfire massively.
