I think an electoral majority of Americans don’t want the federal government to be spending their tax dollars on this and are happy to see private businesses contributing instead. Perhaps other agencies (such as SEC, FCC, FAA, FDA, etc.) can operate similarly and help lower the burden on taxpayers.
- jltsiren 2y agoIt's common that corruption persists, because people prefer it that way. But that doesn't make it any less corrupt.
- bloomingkales 2y agoDon’t do this. The entire history of the Roman republic is people purchasing power and armies, follow the money, abstract it down to .. coin. Cesar owned armies, owned, then he took them and marched on Rome. First buy the army.
