- croemer 2y agoAgreed, but at least it's more than one person's interpretation that's put their reputation on the line, even if it's a family member.
- rtkwe 2y agoEmail text can be easily faked too, there's really no reason to weigh them higher than the story other than they can be slightly tricky to fake the style and verbiage you might expect to see from that type of email.
- Aloisius 2y agoRaw emails though are potentially verifiable if there's say, a DKIM header.
- croemer 2y agoCan be faked but that takes effort and raises the stakes. Now you'd not just misrepresent, you'd also be forging stuff. We could then also discuss whether the text was credible or had some signs of being forged. Data is always good to have even if it could be fake.
