My guess is: the pandemic and online dating.
- CalChris 2y agoThe pandemic killed off a lot of social structures. The casual carpool going from various East Bay locations to downtown San Francisco is gone. The reward for the driver picking people up (express lane, lower toll) is the same. The people are largely the same. But the institution didn't magically restart after COVID.
