I appended "(January 6)" to the title to disambiguate "Today".

  Might want to disambiguate “nothing” too… just as in the poem lots of things happened to lots of people; lives started and lives ended, fortunes were made and fortunes were lost, and even if nothing else happened the end of democracy crept a day closer. Arguably that nothing that didn’t happen is infinitesimal compared to the nothing that did.

  What I should've said was, I appended "(January 6)" to the post title to avoid clickbaiting people into thinking that the article is about January 8.
