Why does medium.com does not allow me to sort by ratings?
I’m paid subscriber and genuinely curious why I am not able to sort the posts ? Seems like an intuitive feature that would be implemented by default. Is there a story behind this missing obvious feature ?
- herbst 2y agoNot medium, but if you implement a rate based system for anything that is used as ad platform you trigger many smart minds to find ways to cheat your system
- bicepjai 2y agoIf that’s the argument, don’t you think we would never be able to find greatly rated apps in App Store or videos on YouTube, right ? Am I missing something ?
- herbst 2y agoDo you? Nether Appstore nor YouTube do actually show top rated apps/videos first. Both do some algorithmic magic for suggestions
