Because jobs get outsourced overseas and US hires people from overseas with H1B visas.
- redserk 2y agoThis isn't just an outsourcing/H1B thing. I think the current H1B rhetoric is partially used as a distraction from a bigger shift: a broad deprioritization of US hiring by US firms. The company I work for stopped hiring anyone close to software development in the US for about 2 years now.
