- defrost 2y agoThis fluoride meta study has cropped up repeatedly on HN and many other forums in the past decade .. any forum search on "fluoride" will return a high frequency of nearness to links to versions of this study across a multitude of hosts. As the linked article here notes, it's sketchy with little to no bearing on health and IQ wrt fluoride at regular G20 recommended levels. It does conclusively establish that drinking ground water with 7x recommended levels of fluoride and many other additives isn't ideal for human development. This doesn't linearly track back to reasonably conclude "ok, fluoride must be bad at low levels in isolation". Is this sudden acceptance in a JAMA journel foreshadow the coming epoch under RFK Jr.?
