If you could use cloning to make lots of money more labs would be doing it.

- WalterBright 2y agoIf I could clone myself, I'd make a few bug fixes.
- bitmasher9 2y agoI think the profitability of human cloning is significantly lower and slower than AI.
- piltdownman 2y agoI mean isn't the end-game here growable organs and an unlimited supply of morally justifiable stem-cells for use in a variety of therapies? Given what Interferons etc... already cost, I'm struggling to see how there isn't a direct and established line of profitability for the domain.
- JumpinJack_Cash 2y agoHealth is the only thing that gives an ulterior advantage to people involved with managing the companies, much more important than money or profitability. They can try those things on themselves behind the scenes to extend their lifespan/healthspan. If they didn't do it with cloning it might be that there is some sort of mechanism preventing it that Nature installed in our brains. Don't know if it extends to AI too though.
