Yeah, I've seen a lot of countdown UIs that incorrectly start beeping as soon as "1s" becomes "0s". In fact they should start beeping exaclty 1 second after that change. I'm sure this is actually an intentional design decision because starting to beep at 0.99 (displayed 0) feels more correct, even though it isn't.
