Yeah, but by that point, the patient is already disabled/disfigured/dead. Making insurers liable for wrongful deaths and disabilities does seem appropriate, in a general sense, but we should probably also make it illegal to do things that cause people to die or otherwise suffer harm.
- from-nibly 2y agoMaking it illegal doesn't magically prevent it from happening. This isn't software it's reality. Once someone does kill someone they need to be liable for it.
