- orionblastar 2y agoDon't forget that Microsoft had the OEM tax that made OEMs pay for the DOS/Windows license even if they installed OS/2 instead of DOS/Windows. PC Clones came bundled with DOS/Windows and if you wanted OS/2 you bought a copy from IBM and formatted the hard drive for OS/2.
