Sorry to hijack the thread. If I wanted to use my garden to plant things, where should I start and learn? Does anyone have any good resources for this? I'm not very good with my hands and don't know anything about plants. I'd love to grow some vegetables and/or fruits as they seem to be the most useful for me.

There is a very good book called Square Foot Gardening that's aimed at beginners.

Could you give me the ISBN or author name? A quick search gave me a handful of books so I'm not sure which one you're talking about.

Mel Bartholomew is the author of the version I have, but it looks like "Square Foot Gardening Foundation" took over after he died.

"All New Square Foot Gardening", I assume? Thanks!
