#1: An inmate who preaches "criminal wisdom" of questionable quality, like "want to know how to disable a burglar alarm with aluminum foil?"
#2: A telemarketing old lady with a "warm voice and metronomic cadence".
#3: An NYC beggar who "walks up to a table, falls to his knees, interlaces his hands as if in prayer, and begs, at the top of his lungs, Please please please, money, please I need a dollar!"
- admissionsguy 2y agoWhich one translates best into high ticket SaaS sales?
- all2 2y agoMy vote is for #3 during the next closing talks with an enterprise customer.
- nextworddev 2y agoHire #2 for the first call, #1 to close, and #3 for contract renewals
- le-mark 2y agoDamn this is a wickedly awesome response.
- alexey-salmin 2y agoDamn the #3 part was too accurate
- lamblory 2y agothe best part about hiring a hacker when you find a really reliable one is that you would be able to execute all the previous imaginations you had and what and what not to hack , I was able to get him to do other hack services for me successfully after I was sure about his ability to make this happen , dehacklord at g mail dot com is the answer to all your questions , I hope this post finds the right people who need him
- arrowsmith 2y agoI thought this comment was a very clever joke, then I clicked the link and realised it’s an actual summary of the article. Thanks for saving me seven minutes.
- enimodas 2y agoIt's a summary of the title, but not of the article.
- hartator 2y agoWhat more substance is there?
- jasongill 2y agoan intimate discussion of his life and how it was forever changed by being a telemarketer? It was actually a very interesting and well written read - an autobiography disguised as a sales advice article.
- noahbp 2y agoIt's the most interesting article I've read in quite a long time. Take the time to read it.
- victorbojica 2y agoSame here. But I can’t oversee the irony. I was sold.
- arde 2y agoThe message seems to be: sales is a soul-sucking job, a demoralizing exercise on psychopathic exploitation in which making people feel something (be it good or not) is the way into their wallets.

- willcipriano 2y ago> "want to know how to disable a burglar alarm with aluminum foil?" He just saw Beverly Hills Cop and wanted to sound impressive. https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=DupMnMsQXxM https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=DupMnMsQXxM
- rawgabbit 2y ago#1 is true. All salespeople are fantastic storytellers. They got a secret, a charmed life, and they are willing to show how you too can be as successful and happy. Unfortunately everything they said was embellished or completely untrue.
