Until a bunch of people try to find a thread about insert newsworthy event here, only to find there isn't one, create their own, and suddenly a day later there's hundreds of dupes.
- SunlitCat 2y agoOr even worse! Everyone knows how the platform works and assumes someone already made a thread about the newsworthy event, just to find out, 24 hours later, no one had made one!
- scotty79 2y agoFor me that would be desired outcome. Recent events are not worth coverage. Recency is not value.
