- biphasic 2y agothat is correct. The company needs to build a product more or less from scratch at this point
- skeeter2020 2y agothis. The value of a company in this scenario is ARR, discounted sales pipeline, IP, and goodwill. It's likely to be very low for a departing founder, because it's almost all goodwill at this stage which for tech startups is essentially "the perceived ability of the founders to build something that eats the world", which by definition is a going concern he won't be part of.
