Ask HN: Which LLM do you use as a coding assistant?
- andrewstuart 2y agoI did use ChatGPT but now I use Claude almost exclusively - it's so much better there's little point in using ChatGPT.
- lunarcave 2y agoClaude within Cursor. I sometimes disable the Cursor Tab (tab to autocomplete) when I want to think fast. The new agent-based composer has been pretty good at maintaining attention and getting things done on the periphery. I'm slowly coming to the opinion that the developer UX of the assistant, and the way it holds attention (context) is more important than the model capability.
