I had my drums in storage and a friend asked to borrow my Zildjians because he was going on tour. The ride especially had a nice sound. I ran into him about five years later, and remembered to ask about my cymbals. He just said, "Oh, I sold those." I guess he forgot the part about him "borrowing" them. :-)

- spike021 2y agoSomething similar happened to me. i wanted to learn guitar, so my sister’s friend lent me his fairly cheap Stratocaster IIRC, and after some months we were going to move pretty far away. we tried contacting the friend to give him back the guitar but could never connect. it’s been 18 years and i still have it. heh.
