Hey everyone. It's 2025 and I wanted to try a job market experiment. A bit of a reverse of the usual "Who's Hiring" on HN. Perhaps no one will read this. But perhaps it might be interesting to some... The link points to my resume and cover letter online, with my skills and background. The cover letter is for DOGE, which I had applied for in November. If you're looking a "very experienced" person to urgently fill a position and haven't found them, reach out to me by email or comment below and in this coming week I will make sure to get in touch with each and every one who does. And if you know someone who needs to hire a consultant, interim CTO, head of engineering, chief architect, full stack developer, or "just get things to where they should be" guy, point them here. My background ============= I have spent the last decade working on two startups that I founded, taking them from 0 to millions of users in 100 countries, with no marketing. I've had to wear many hats: chief architect, etc. full stack developer, web, mobile, etc. team leader, manager, product manager sales, support, interfacing with clients raising money, interfacing with investors I've ended up hiring, training and leading two different teams in building two different open-source platforms (https://github.com/Qbix https://github.com/Qbix and https://github.com/Intercoin https://github.com/Intercoin), using which I can now quickly put together products that would normally require a team and 6 months. If needed, I can bring my teammates along as well. I'm also currently building AI agents to further automate a lot of the work I do so I can help more people. Why am I doing this? ==================== Now that I've completed my journey and built what I needed, I am curious about the tech job market in 2025. It's changed a lot from a decade ago, and now AI and "100x developers" are becoming the new normal. This might look ridiculous, and after all it's just an experiment, but I commit to trying to help whoever reaches out to me the best way I can. This is a format a bit like those "bachelor/ette of the day" posts on Facebook in dating groups, which I have never done. I fully expect I will get criticized by some in the comments below for attempting this. But I would like to "put myself out there" and see what happens.
