The driver of the Tesla appears to have been in the Army as well, which again could just be a coincidence, but those coincidences are adding up. We have two terrorist attacks that nearly overlap. Both were carried out (at least in part) by people who served in the Army. Both involved cars rented from the same niche service. Both involved IED's. So yeah, who knows, but I won't be shocked if there's a connection.
