Totally resonated with me re software lifecycle etc. Great article. I know this is not what the article is about. But perhaps exec should have spent resources and time trying to increase revenue instead of cutting cost marginally, and creating an expensive system down the road. Derailing team focus. Build vs buy… Build is almost always not cheaper. Many other reasons to build though.
